Due to mass hysteria over here lately I’m way behind posting Whitney’s maternity photos. You can read more about the chaos, otherwise known as my life, here, here, here, and here. Mrs. Whit is now 39 weeks preggo and I shot her maternity photos when she was 34 weeks. Since baby Cadence will be making her arrival any day now I thought I would use Gray’s nap time to post about her shoot.

I absolutely cannot wait to meet baby Cadence. She will be one of two girls in a horde of baby boys.

Since I don’t have any friends that are my size I had to buy new maternity clothes.  I have been trying to hit up Old Navy when they have sales so I can rack up on essentials.  All of my friends that are pregnant or were pregnant are smaller than me.  Yea for me!  That’s okay because it gives me something to look forward to, something both new and pretty.  Since I am in a stage in life where it is very easy to feel FAT and UGLY, I am enjoying a few things to make me feel better about myself.

However, I’m still waiting for all of the wonderfully adorable dresses to hit the stores, because I plan on wearing mostly light and airy dresses this summer.  Yep, that’s right folks….I’m gonna be pregnant, in Memphis, during the dead of the summer.  I am just thankful that my in-laws have a pool that stays a chilly 80 degrees during the summer (they have a lot of trees shading the pool).  I will be spending quite a bit of time in those frigid waters during the dog days of summer.

Now all I have to decide is what type of awesome maternity swimsuit I plan on wearing.  I think pregnant women, in all their big bellied glory, are adorable in maternity swimsuits.  Don’t you?
