As you can tell from my post earlier this week, we had a four-legged house guest over the weekend.  Normally, Wrigley spends most of her time being annoying either by pecking at Cohen, or barking at the wind and anything else that may pass by our house (she thinks anything she can see from the window is her territory).  Well, she found a new way to be annoying this weekend.  YEA!!!!!

Wrigley would peck at Ellie’s side until Ellie would play tug-o-war with her.  Aaaaaaaand that’s what the two girls did just about all weekend.

Over the weekend Derek, Cohen, Wrigley, and I had a house guest named Ellie.  Ellie is our good friend Amy’s dog. Ellie and Cohen grew up together.  See for the 1st year Derek owned his house Amy and Ellie rented a room from Derek.  We are all good friends, so it worked out nicely. As a matter of fact Derek and I each knew Amy before we knew each other. Weird…right?

About a year after moving in with Derek, Amy and Ellie bought their own house just a few miles down the road.  We still get to see Amy quite a bit, but Ellie can’t always come.  So it was a nice treat getting to spend the weekend with Ellie.   Since our dogs don’t really care to sleep on the bed with us…THANK THE LORD…I was a huge softy and allowed Ellie to sleep up there with us.  I feel bad for the sweet little girl.   I mean she’s got to be missing her mommy!   Seriously…how can you say no to this face?
