Tis’ the Season for Baby Jesus
I’m super excited about Baby Jesus’ birthday this year. I’ve put out a few decorations already, but I think I’m gonna wait till after Turkey day to pull out the tree. But seeing all of my Christmas decor got me in the holiday frame of mind. I think I’m gonna start a new tradition in the Davenport house.
Starting the week after Thanksgiving on Sunday or Monday nights (I’m say either to give a bit of flexibility to our schedules) we will crash on the couch as a family and partake in some of our favorite holiday movies. I’m even thinking about bringing some of our friends and family into the mix. I mean, what’s the holidays without them? Am I right?
Okay, here’s our list of movies for our fun filled holiday season.

Now, I know there are only four weekends left before Christmas, but just in case I can’t get my hands on one or more of these movies I gave myself a few buffer movies.
Since it’s Squishy’s 1st Christmas we are packing our schedule with baby friendly, and fun filled events for the holiday season. We have a low key Christmas party and a Chrismukkah party lined up. We are also going to see Starry Nights. I think Gray will really enjoy all the bright moving lights. One of the activities I am really looking forward to is the zoo. Not only do they have beautiful lights during the holidays, but this year they are gonna have an ice skating rink….woo hoo! So, are any of you starting or have a fun holiday tradition(s)?
